Guilty

He sat alone.
His simple heart beating out a rhythm,
An, even repetitive rhythm,
One, two,
One, two,
They say that simple minds satisfy simple hearts,
His mind was anything but complicated,
Yet his heart was far from satisfied,
His heart longed for one destiny,
Though reality was manifesting him another,
He ached and longed for the sense of euphoria,
But darkness was all that prevailed,
The light at the end of the tunnel was fading,
Simmer and dimmer,
Until it ceased to exist,
The world seemed to close in around him,
Blanketing and protecting him,
Trying to block out one simple word,
One simple phrase,
One simple sound,
Something so simple yet so destructive,
"Guilty".

Image in the Rain

Peering out through all of the mist and drear,
In the rain I picture you.
Picture you smiling,
Picture the sparkle in your eyes,
Picutre your perfectly sculptured lips.
As the rain grows stronger,
So does the image.
So strong like I could touch it,
So strong like your feelings for me,
So strong like my love for you.
I carry on staring and
Something becomes clear.
Clear as fresh water,
Clear as crystal,
Clear as your face in the rain.
I love you,
With an undying love.
Undying like waves on the shore,
Undying like an evergreen,
Undying like a soul,
Undying like the image in the rain.

Life

Sometimes, I just need a break,
Get away from the world that has turned so fake.
Some girls feel tons of make up should be worn,
They don't realise that we all were beautifully born.
Some men just use females for their satisfaction,
They don't realise that sex isn't necessarily a loving action.
Some people hate on religions and race,
They don't realise not to judge on beliefs and colours of faces.
Many children wake up cold and hungry on the street,
While others are dying of dehydration in the heat.
I hope that one day the world will understand,
That we need to join together and give one-an-other a helping hand.
Until then, stay true to who you are,
And don't give up - just keep wishing on that star.
